whatifdragonage:

What if Solas is one if the ancient, undying elves, awakened by the Breach? It would explain how he’s neither Dalish nor city elf, and potentially why his romance is so heavily gated.

can I ‘like’ this headcanon more than once because I had the urge to spam the button.

I have two inquisitors thought up I really like so I’m planning to play them both! I’ve decided that for my mage I’m going to create a ‘perfect’ play through with my original warden and my poor warrior gets her very own alternate universe in which another warden was chosen and made all of the Bad Life Choices. I will call this world the I FUCKED UP universe and she can bitch about my warden every time she runs into a crazy side quest he caused.

I am really happy that our Adaar can be a rogue despite their size. °v°
Ikram hates to see his enemies dying right in front of him and seeing how the life is fading from their eyes - hence the bow and arrow. He fights only with bow and arrow, so he can get some distance. His gentle softie heart needs that. =v=

For those who are interested, we have been very calculated when it comes to engineering our characters imperfections. The development process has a built in erosion mechanism: many stakeholders in many review meetings tend to trim away a characters humanizing flaws and oddities, leaving little more than “pretty” and “safe”. Strip and shave most game characters today and you’d be hard pressed to tell most of them apart. We’ve worked very hard on Inquisition to safeguard our characters from this erosion process. We want to give them more identity than just their clothes, hairstyle and makeup. It’s our hope that after you’ve spent some time with them, our character’s will be as inseparable from their quirks, flaws and oddities as your own friends and family are from theirs. — Matt Rhodes (x)

So I have….6 inquisitors planned so far, 2 who are competing for main character….pretty soon I’m just gonna say f*ck it and make 9 characters so I can have one of each specialization. November’s gonna be a busy month.

You know what I’d like in dragon age inquisition for a mage? When you’re low on HP you hear the promises and offers from a demon.

Just to truly heighten the burden of magic.
